Why Israel Will Soon Invade Gaza
And the devastation that inevitable decision will unleash
Here’s why Israel believes it has no choice but to utterly destroy Hamas, regardless of implications.
Did you know that the country endured “only” 2,656 fatalities in the decisive and monumental Yom Kippur War?
The Hamas ISIS-style rampages on October 7th killed 1,400 Israelis, nearly 53% of all those killed in the war 50 years before.
That’s proportional to more than 61,000 Americans being killed, in a single attack, on a single day.
And to put that in perspective, more fatalities than what the US sustained throughout the entire Viet Nam War.
What these shocking numbers and their emotional implications reveal is that the region is headed for chaos.
Israel can’t and won’t back down, they will blast into Gaza with the express goal of killing every Hamas militant.
Then their Arab enemies can’t and won’t hold back, they will blast into Israel from Lebanon and within the West Bank.
The only thing that could defuse this otherwise inevitable catastrophe is for Israel to not invade Gaza.
Alternatives exist to invading Gaza, everything from strengthening borders to pinpoint attacks to… diplomacy?
Imagine that.
But I just shared the stark numbers, and you can only imagine how the Israelis feel about them.
So you can be sure the Israelis will soon try to eliminate Hamas, building-by-building, room-by-room, tunnel-by-tunnel.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the inevitable escalation to ensue has a ceiling that isn’t WWIII.
