Elon Musk Buying TikTok?

All signs point to the possibility if not the likelihood

For about what he paid for Twitter — $44B — Elon Musk could buy TikTokUS. That feasible amount is double the next-highest bidder, making the M&A with X. a genuine possibility, considering:

• Musk, currently worth over $421B, has the money
• The TikTok algorithm remains top notch AI, and the platform is profitable (unlike X.), making it a worthy catch
• The acquisition would greatly expand Musk’s personal and political desire for global reach and influence
• Musk’s already expansive and deep influence within the Trump Administration would mitigate conflict of interest pushback from the DOJ and/or FTC

The numerous implications of such a deal — and Musk controlling TikTok, too, ranted on another day, here’s my initial reaction soon as I heard the news and got a second to process the possibilities:
